I fell in the river. It was cold and absolutely worth it. Wasn't able to make my annual weeklong fall pilgrimage this year. Thus. just a day trip had to suffice. Yet only one day yielded an album of colorful memories. The Cache la Poudre will always be near and dear to my heart. A wild and scenic area providing a lifetime of memories. Windy, hot conditions and minimal cloud cover made it tough, but I always find a way to make it work. Will start learning how to properly photograph streams. Although they come out decent, just pointing and pressing the button is not the way. Began the morning with a short hike to a lake near timberline and then followed the yellows and golds down the canyon.
